We are located in the national park of Loire-Anjou-Touraine, in the land of Richelieu. This region is named after Armand Jean du Plessis, Cardinal of Richelieu. Known to many from the book The Three Musketeers by Alexandre Dumas.
A visit to the city of Richelieu is highly recommended with its unique architecture and is situated next to a beautiful park, which used to be the domain of the cardinal.

  Castle where Jeanne d'Arc once took her horses. Now has a beautiful garden for the explorer, very nice for children.

  Take a trip to the future in this futuristic theme park in Poitiers. Go on a journey in 4D with Arthur and the Minimoys, or travel through time with the "raging rabbits".

  This delicious restaurant is located in the nearby village of Marcilly-sur-Vienne and is highly recommended! Good food with fresh ingredients, a treat for your taste buds. Our advice is, go for lunch and make sure to make your reservations in time.

  Discover the various narrow streets with nice restaurants, visit the fortress or pay a visit to the different wine producers. The red Chinon wines are known for their intense fruitiness and freshness.

  In the village with the same name, located at the river Indre, stands this beautiful castle from the early French Renaissance. Around the castle, you will find a beautiful park and you can also take a canoe trip on the river here.

  Next to the city gate of Richelieu and on the edge of the park, you will find Auberge Le Cardinal. Simply delicious French dining with always nice dishes on the menu. Be quick if you want to enjoy the beautiful terrace outside.

  The capital of our department Indre et Loire through which the river Loire flows. A pleasant city to spend a day with nice shopping streets, historical sights and inviting terraces and restaurants.

  The Château de Villandry is the last of the great châteaux of the Loire built during the French Renaissance. The sober elegance of its architecture combined with the charm of its exquisite gardens make it one of the jewels of the World Heritage list.

  Go karting on one of the oldest karting tracks in France. If you have never driven on a real outdoor track, grab your chance now.

  La Treille Dorée
  Have dinner at the ladies', a special place for us. Open only for lunch, with a different menu every day. No a la carte, you eat what's on the menu. Honest French food, it doesn't get any more real than this. The restaurant has been temporarily relocated and is located right next to the market hall in Richelieu.

  Many beautiful sights. Poitiers is the perfect destination for a nice city excursion. Discover the beautiful churches, cosy squares and picturesque streets and enjoy yourself on one of the nice terraces.

  On the other side of the forest of La Bossière stands this royal abbey. You can easily walk to it during a beautiful forest walk from our domain. This abbey from the 12th century is also the last resting place of Hollywood actor Yul Brynner.

  Take a whole day and visit France's most beautiful and enjoyable zoo. Very spacious park where each part has its own theme. Be sure to visit the fantastic bird show, or see real giant pandas in the flesh. Voted one of the 4 most beautiful zoos in the world!

  Just above Châtellerault, in the village of Ingrandes, lies this lovely restaurant. Go here for lunch and let yourself be pampered by the hostess and her kitchen.

  This compact town used to be an important place on the pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela. The river Vienne runs through this city and in the small streets of the inner city you will find nice shops and also the market hall with local fresh products.

  Once upon a time, there was a fairytale castle overlooking the Indre and Loire... so beautiful that it inspired the story of Sleeping Beauty.

  A day of climbing in the Loire-Anjou-Touraine Natural Park. An adventure for young and old. Bring some food, because the forest is ideal for a picnic and if you still feel like it, go for a nice walk.

  In the neighbouring village of Braslou, you will find this restaurant in the local Tabac. Don't be fooled by the rustic nature of the decor... And if you are in the mood for mussels, this place is definitely worth a visit.

  This city is known for its own wines and has a very cosy inner city with nice terraces and restaurants. High up in the city is also the castle of Saumur. Looking for a nice bubbly, just next to the city is the winery Gratien & Meyer with a fantastic view of the Loire.

  The royal town of Loches, to which the castle belongs, is situated in the valley of the Indre. It is a masterpiece of medieval military architecture. A visit during the weekly market in Loches is definitely worthwhile.

  Enjoy yourself, be free and create with pleasure on canvas or wood. Find your creative side and enjoy a workshop by professional creative centipede Peter van Kuijk in an old tobacco farmhouse dating back to the 1600s.

  If you don't feel like having a French meal, enjoy delicious Italian food in the centre of Châtellerault. Cosy and often busy restaurant, when you step inside you immediately see the large wood oven where the pizzas are baked.
